Choices, choices, choices

It’s time to look at our compass. What’s your compass? What guides you through the quagmire of decisions facing us all the time?¬† Random chance, other’s opinions, or the latest self-help book?

I have discovered guidance that comes from a relationship with God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, and the Bible to be “right on”. I may not agree with the guidance at first, however, His guidance has been right for me.

Today I am going to leave you with a scripture to chew on. (That’s known as meditation)

I challenge you to think on this scripture:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.”

Proverbs  3:5-6  New King James Version

  1. Becky

You know…it’s interesting to consider that there’s probably many of us who didn’t (or don’t) even make it past the first word in that verse: “Trust.” If we can’t do that, we certainly won’t be able to adhere to the rest! But God… It’s good to know that it’s okay to stop and find, or work for, our healing, one word at a time.

Yes, for some of us who have not had the opportunity to live in a family where trust is fostered in the family setting, trust can be a huge hurdle. But with God all things are possible. I am so grateful to have learned that truth.
