The title of this blog is taken from a line in the movie, Anne of Green Gables. Anne, with an E, is an orphan who has been taken in, reluctantly (because she was a girl), by Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert on Prince Edward Island, Eastern Canada. Anne struggles with quick judgments, assumptions and responses of anger.
Miss Stacy, her teacher, tries to encourage Anne with this “Word”.
What about you? Do you know that each day is a new day with no mistakes in it – yet.
It is true, IF, you know Jesus. “If we confess our sins (failures, actions, assumptions, judgments, anger, etc.) He is faithful to forgive us of all of our sins.” He is waiting to forgive and lavish His love on each of us.
My word for you today is “Don’t turn out that light, at night, without walking through your day with the Savior. “Confession is good for the spirit, soul (mind will and emotions), and body.”
Then every morning is a new day with no mistakes in it, yet!
